Printing is self-service.
- Purchase SH 107 print credits online.
- Four Mac and four PC print stations are available for printing. Log in to one of the print stations and select the “ARCH_SH107_Color” print queue.
- Be patient when printing. Long queues can develop when large files are printing. Only send your file once.
- Pick up your print from the output tray of one of the copiers.

Plotting is managed by Lab Staff.

- Convert your digital file to PDF file format and deliver it to the Lab Staff on a portable flash drive.
- Please be patient when plotting. Long queues should be expected around studio deadlines including midterm and final reviews. Plan accordingly and be courteous to the staff.

Scanning is supervised by Lab Staff.
- Purchase SH 107 print credits online.
- Check in with Lab Staff before starting your scans.
- Use a mylar sleeve for any “dirty” media. This includes charcoal, graphite, etc. “Clean” media may be scanned directly. This includes maps, photographs, collages, watercolor, etc. Not sure? Ask the staff!
- To scan, log into the computer connected to the scanner using your PSU login and open the Smartworks Pro software shortcut on the desktop.
- Scan your piece and save the file to a USB flash drive or Google Drive, or email it to yourself.
- CLEAN UP! Wipe off any media transferred to the scanner or the mylar sleeve. Get help from Lab Staff if the scanner rollers or other concealed areas of the scanner get dirty. Do not leave the scanner dirty. Students who fail to properly clean the scanner will be charged a $25 fee.
- Log out of the machine and return sleeves to Lab Staff.

1. Any unused print credits expire at the end of spring term.
2. Students are solely responsible for their own digital modeling and printing errors and will be charged accordingly.
3. Students will not be charged for staff printing errors.
