Favorite Genres of Books: Rachel loves comics and books equally, but their favorite genres within those mediums are romance, fantasy, fiction, and drama. Rachel also really enjoys nonfiction books that detail about history, art, self help, and DIY.
Background/Experience: Rachel’s B.A was at Portland State University as a Honors Student, and her major was Art History with a focus on Art Studio Practices and Criticism, with a minor in English.
They are currently working on my dual M.A in Publishing and Technical Writing with a Comics Study certificate.

Favorite Genre of Books: Young adult fantasy, contemporary, romance, and dystopian are her go-to genres and her favorite authors are Sarah J. Maas and Leigh Bardugo.
Background/Experience: Claire graduated from Drury University in 2020 with a BA in English and Writing. She is currently at Portland State University working on her MS in Book Publishing.

Background/Experience: Nova studied English at Portland State University and has worked several publishing jobs before finally settling down at Changeling Press.
Name: Courtney La Verne

Favorite Genre of Books: Young Adult Fantasy, fiction, mystery and thriller are her main go-to genres and some of her favorite authors include Marie Lu, Julie Kagawa, James Patterson, and John Green. Courtney also enjoys the occasional comic book or manga, and certain history nonfiction books.
Background/Experience: Courtney La Verne is currently an undergraduate student at Portland State University, pursuing a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in English, with a history and writing minor. When she began studying at PSU, her goal was to pursue a degree in the mechanical engineering field, but she soon learned that it wasn’t what she was truly passionate about. She is an author at Gaming Cypher and has published 19 gaming reviews on their website in the past year.
