Sharps Materials
If you see a sharps material (needle or bio hazardous material) please do the following:
If you have touched the material, please contact Student Health and Counseling (SHAC)/ CPSO Right Away: Health Services: 503.725.2800 SHAC General: 503.725.2800 CPSO Emergency: 503-725-4404
If you see a sharps material, DO NOT Touch it.
if you have the means to, please flag the location with small irrigation flags found in the orchard, sticks, tape, etc.
Let those around you know where it is, and to not go near the material.
Submit a work order to have it removed to Facitlies using the online portal -OR- call 5-2FIX
You will receive a notification when your work order has been completed, It is typically done within 1 -2 business days.
**Student and professional staff can be trained to pick up sharps materials with proper equipment through Environmental Health and Safety.
