Stop by at the Engineering Building on Wednesday September 25th to welcome Portland State University's new and incoming students! The ASME Student Section will be attending and manning a table to promote the exciting and useful opportunities that comes with being a Student Member.
The ASME Student Section planned a tour of the Electron Microscopy Lab at PSU with the help of Dr. Eric Sanchez. Attending section members were able to view and operate various machines used in microscopy including Scanning Electron Microscopes, Transmission Electron Microscopes, and Dual Beam FIBs.
The ASME Student Section at PSU participated in the Oregon MESA Day hosted at Portland State University. There, ASME PSU designed and led a mini-competition for attending students and staff to race microdrones, designed in collaboration with the Electronics Prototyping Lab at Portland State University.
