Meet the officers

Janella Musni

President

I earned my bachelor’s degree in accounting and am now returning to Portland State University to pursue a master’s degree in finance for Fall 2025. Growing up in a place with limited access to accounting professionals, I developed a deep appreciation for accounting and its importance in financial stability and economic growth. My career goal is to obtain my Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification and secure a position at one of the Big 4 accounting firms. (she/her)

Nada Nasr

Vice President

I’m a senior at Portland State University, majoring in accounting with a minor in economics. As an aspiring CPA, I am eager to pursue a career in public accounting, where I can apply my skills to help others make confident financial decisions. (she/her)

Liz Jones

Director of Membership

I am working towards a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting, with a focus on taxation. My goal is to become a CPA and join one of the Big 4 firms in Portland. (she/her)

Elise Porter

Director of Marketing

I'm a post-bacc student pursuing a BS in Accounting with the goal of becoming a CPA. I'm interested in taxation and supporting small businesses. Coming from a family of small-business owners, I understand the challenges they face and am passionate about helping them navigate financial and tax complexities. I'm a lifelong Portland resident, and I hope to begin my career with a local firm where I can contribute to the community I call home. Prior to my accounting studies, I earned a BFA in Graphic Design from Oregon State University. (she/her)

Nattie Do

Event Assistant

I am in my senior year of a BA in Accounting. I am a transfer student. I have been very involved in SB Accounting events and business workshops, learning how to develop my accounting career and specific skillsets. I also have experience as an officer of Beta Alpha Psi. I am glad to get more connection with Accounting folks and raise our community to help everyone build up your skills.(she/her)

Co-Director of Events

I am a senior at PSU majoring in accounting. I am a student associate at the School of Business Career Center. I have a passion for professional development and was inspired by my internship experiences at Deloitte this past summer. I am excited to make a difference in the accounting world once I graduate and have my CPA license to work in the field of tax. (she/her)
