If you are CPA eligible between December 2024 - August 2025, you could be eligible to submit early applications for Summer Career Days and 2023 internships! Here's an overview of what you need to know:
A variety of local & regional firms offer Summer 2023 Career Days, which are 1-2 day unpaid events that allow you to learn more about their firm and meet their staff. These are GREAT opportunities to network and learn more about the profession, as well as get your foot in the door for a potential 2023 internship offer.
Early applications for Summer 2023 internships are offered at Deloitte, EY, KPMG, Moss Adams, and PwC. These internships are paid ($20+/hr) and usually last 8-10 weeks. No accounting experience is expected or required.
Applications for these opportunities are due in mid-late February.
Additional opportunities for Summer 2023 internships and programs are also available to students that identify as

Deloitte, EY, KPMG, Moss Adams, & PwC offer a variety of paid internships and workshops for underrepresented students in accounting that are CPA eligible on/after December 2024 (click here to learn how to calculate your CPA eligibility date). Not only do these opportunities give you a peek into the accounting profession, they also put you in a pipeline to secure future internships and full time positions in the future!
Summer 2022 Paid Internships: These internships are generally available for underrepresented students that are in their Junior year or will be CPA eligible between December 2023-August 2024. During the internship, you will learn more about the firm and careers in accounting. At the conclusion of the internship, students often receive an offer for an audit or tax internship the following summer. Prior accounting experience is not expected or required. Pay is $20+/hr.
Summer 2022 Leadership Workshop: These multi-day workshops are intended for underrepresented students in their freshman and sophomore year. The workshops are unpaid, 1-2 day events that introduce you to the firm and the accounting profession. Most participants receive an offer to complete an internship the following summer.
