BETA ALPHA PSI (BAP)
Beta Alpha Psi is PSU's premier honor society for accounting students and provides unique opportunities to develop leadership skills, expand professional and peer networks, and begin careers ahead of the competition. Each week, BAP hosts accounting professionals to speak at on-campus about areas of the accounting profession. Meetings are open to all accounting students, and membership is not required to attend. Whether you want to gain professional development skills, network with employers, or find a community within the School of Business, there’s a place for you in Beta Alpha Psi!

Financial Management Association (FMA)
Consider becoming a member of the PSU student FMA chapter or attending some of its events and programs! You'll meet a wide variety of finance professionals and be kept abreast of the latest trends in the field. FMA's mission is to provide opportunities for interaction between professionals and students, promote the development and understanding of sound financial practices, and enhance the quality of education in finance.

Finance
CHARTERED FINANCIAL ANALYST SOCIETY (CFA)
The CFA Institute is the global association of investment professionals that sets the standard for professional excellence and credentials. The CFA Society of Portland hosts a variety of events to connect students with local investment professionals and provides scholarships for those wanting to earn the CFA credential. Student memberships are $25 for one year and you will have access to their job board and other career resources.
PORTLAND ALTERNATIVE INVESTMENT ASSOCIATION (PAIA)
The PAIA is an organization formed to help promote and enhance communication among all participants in the alternative investment community by hosting and facilitating networking and educational events.
