Crisis Intervention
Project Respond (503-988-4888) A response team providing an array of crisis, specialized, and culturally aware services. Project Respond focuses on helping an individual and/or family regain a sense of control over thoughts, feelings, and events.
Portland Street Response (911) Assists people experiencing mental health and behavioral health crises. Call 911 and specifically request PSR anywhere in Portland.
Trans Lifeline (877-565-8860) Grassroots hotline with a policy against non-consensual active rescue. Offers direct emotional and financial support to trans people in crisis—for the trans community, by the trans community.
Lines for Life (988/800-273-8255) 24-hour crisis line, offers help to individuals and loved ones in crisis or when needing confidential help for drug addiction, alcohol abuse, thoughts of suicide, and other mental health issues.

Mental Health: Unity Center for Behavioral Health, 1225 NE 2nd Ave (503-944-8000) 24-hour behavioral/mental health services providing immediate and long-term psychiatric care.
Racial Equity Support Line (503-575-3764) Led/staffed by people with lived experience of racism. Offering support to people of color who are feeling the impacts of racist violence, microaggressions, immigration struggles, and cross-cultural issues.
Misc. Legal
National Lawyers Guild (503-902-5340) Jail Support (mostly political). Call if: in jail and/or after release, witness arrests, or witness/experience police brutality. NLG aims to be the legal arm of Portland’s radical movement. Repeat or leave message if needed.
Mass Defense Hotline (971-247-1072) Not affiliated with NLG. Jail and bail support for political arrestees.
PCC Community Legal & Educational Access & Referral Clinic (CLEAR, clear-clinic@pcc.edu) Criminal record and eviction expungements; DACA renewals; housing and immigration court navigation; legal name and gender-marker changes; other legal advice and referrals.
