Returning a loaner iPad

Part 1: Quit all open apps

Part 2: Sign out of Gmail

1. Launch the Gmail App

2. Click on your circular avatar

3. Click on Manage accounts on this device

4. Click on Remove from this device any account that shows. (Start with the one that is NOT you, if there is one.)

5. It will ask you if you are sure; click Remove.

Part 3: Check your work by launching Google Apps to make sure no one is still logged in. Then turn off the apps.

Part 4: Close all open tabs

1. Launch Safari.

2. Push and HOLD on the 2 x 2 array in the top, right corner.

3. Find the option that states “Close All # Tabs” and click the red X.

4. Click on “Close All # Tabs” again when it asks are you sure?

5. Close the Safari app.

6. Launch Chrome.

7. Close all the tabs open in Chrome by clicking on the gray X on each tab.

OR

8. Click on the number of tabs open and choose Close Tab in red.
   OR

9. Tap on the number of tabs open and click the gray x on each open browser page.
