Two Social Workers with a mandate to assist with students who self-identfy as 2SLGBTQIA+ are available for one-on-one or small group therapy sessions. *NO PARENT CONSENT REQUIRED*

The CMHA website has information about mental health issues as well as how and where to find help.  It also includes a page on mental health issues for LGBTQ people.

The team at Children’s Mental Health Ontario (CMHO) works hard to make a positive impact on families, caregivers, and members. The staff here have experience working inside and outside the provincial government on both the bureaucratic and political sides.

To improve the lives of 2SLGBTQI people in Canada and to enhance the global response to 2SLGBTQI issues. Egale will achieve this by informing public policy, inspiring cultural change, and promoting human rights and inclusion through research, education, awareness and legal advocacy.

Scarleteen is a progressive, independent sexuality and relationships education media and support organization and website. Founded in 1998, as of 2022, Scarleteen.com is visited by a few million diverse people each year -- thousands of whom we speak with directly in our direct services and in-person outreach each year -- most between the ages of 15 and 30. 

SOAHAC’s purpose is to improve access to, and the quality of, health services for First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples in the spirit of partnership, mutual respect and sharing.




Tangerine Walk-In Counselling is available free of charge to children and youth up to their 18th birthday, and their parents, caregivers or adult supporters.

Adolescents aged 12 to 17 may access this service independently. Tangerine Walk-In Counselling is only available to residents of the Region of Peel.

Trans Lifeline is a national trans-led organizatoin dedicated to improving the quality of trans lives. This peer support hotline is run by and for trans people during the following hours: 7 am-1 am PST / 9 am - 3 am CST / 10 am - 4 am EST. Volunteers may be available during off hours. 1-877-330-6366.
