C.A.R.E. Formula

People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care. If you really want to gain influence with others you must work in their best interests.

The following C.A.R.E. formula can be a powerful tool when trying to lead others:

C= Compliment

• Compliment three people each day. Be sure your compliment is sincere; challenge yourself to share your thoughts

A= Act

• Act in the best interest of others. Think with compassion about students in your school who are either new or don't have a lot of positive things happening.

R= Respect

• Respect the differences in others.

E= Extend

• Extend a helping hand. Nothing shows you care more than getting involved.
