Note: If your iPad tablet is an older model, or is running an old version of iOS, some of the apps below might not be able to be installed. To learn how to connect your Apple iPad to a WiFi network, please click here.
If you are using a parental controls such as content restrictions or limiting screen time, make sure you adjust these settings so that the apps below can be installed and that screen time limits are extended for your child to use the device for the online school day, every weekday.
Install Microsoft Teams: https://apps.apple.com/ca/app/microsoft-teams/id1113153706
Your child should sign into Microsoft Teams using their PDSB.NET account provided by the school. When it asks for "sign-in address" your child should type in 123456@pdsb.net but replace 123456 with her/his Peel student number. The password is the same password your child would use at school to log into a computer there.
Install the following six D2L and Google apps:

Your child should sign into each of the apps above using their PDSB.NET account provided by the school. When it asks for your child to sign into the app, he/she should type in 123456@pdsb.net but replace 123456 with her/his Peel student number. Access your child's virtual learning environment by opening either the Brightspace Pulse app or the Google Classroom app. If using Google Classroom, please ask that your child accept the invitation to join your teacher's Google Classroom called "__. _____ - Grade __ (online)" [or similar]
If your child has forgotten her/his password, please email or call your teacher or school principal as soon as possible so that they can begin the process of resetting the password. Sometimes it can be reset in an hour but sometimes can take up to a day.
