Peer Tutors
Are you a Grade 11 or 12 student interested in becoming a peer tutor? Pick up an application in Legacy.
Ripple Foundation is a 100% volunteer-run educational charity in Canada committed to fostering creative literacy among children and youth.
IntegraYouth, is a student-led registered non-profit organization dedicated to empowering homeless youth through additional educational resources.
The Cross Cultural Community Services Association
The Cross-Cultural Community Services Association (TCCSA) is a not-for-profit and charitable organization that works with newcomers and individuals who are settling in Canada. They are coordinating a new online video content creation project from January to March 2023. In this project, you will learn how to create a video for newcomer-related information and gain volunteer hours.
This is a remote volunteering opportunity involving Spanish, French, and Math programs. This can also give you an opportunity for recommendation letters for university, certificates, and summer jobs at a later time.
High school students have the opportunity to earn volunteer hours by learning CPR/AED online and through our free mobile app.
Sending Sunshine - Volunteer Card Writer
Are you interested in being a volunteer card writer? Sending Sunshine collects cards containing uplifting handwritten messages written by volunteers for senior citizens who live in care facilities.

The MiWay Student Ambassador Program is a fun and professional opportunity for students to represent and promote MiWay digitally, while earning volunteer hours.
Perfect Postal - Sending cards to seniors
Perfect Postal is a community organization run by three friends. Their mission is to eradicate the stigma of loneliness among seniors within different communities of Ontario, Canada by providing seniors positive and engaging cards that will keep them rightfully optimistic. Furthermore, each card is "perfect" in the eyes of these seniors as they are made with care and dedication.
BYS is a culturally relevant prevention and intervention wrap around school and community support initiative that holds the student and his/her family at the centre.
Muslim Community Education Equity Volunteer
Are you a Muslim high-school student interested in combatting racism and Islamophobia in the education system? This is your chance to make the education system more equitable for Muslim students and staff! The project is working on tackling Islamophobia in the Ontario education system.
Tutors need to be attending high school (or older), and have a passion for helping students. Tutors must commit to a minimum of a regular 1 hour weekly session and will have the option of tutoring in-person or online.
All in-person tutors aged 12 and over must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, and show proof of vaccination upon training.
Youth Dream Canada is looking for virtual volunteers to mentee young children for both their storytelling and art programs.
Volunteers must be 16+ years old.

Summer Volunteering with Community Living Mississauga
Gymnastics Mississauga is a not for profit organization that has been in operation since1969. We provide gymnastics programs in a safe, positive environment where every athlete achieves their personal best. We are currently looking for coaches in training.
Students can apply to volunteer at the gym, assisting coaches with the recreational level children that are in our program. Upon successful completion of their volunteer hours, they can also apply to be a coach in training. Gymnastics Mississauga provides all the necessary training needed, so no experience is required.

Ontario Clean Air Alliance - Leaflet Distribution
Volunteers must be able to walk up and down porches.
This is a contact-less volunteer activity. Communication happens via email or phone. A box of leaflets and a map will be mailed to you via Canada Post. You distribute the leaflets in mailboxes without contact with residents, on your own time.
