Each year the staff at RHL recognizes nine outstanding graduating students and awards them with a special award.

PRINCIPAL’S AWARD

This award is presented to a student who demonstrates excellent effort, initiative, attitude, and leadership at RHL.

VICE PRINCIPAL AWARD

This award is presented to a student who demonstrates a positive attitude toward learning and setting achievable goals throughout the school year.

This award is presented to a student who has had a well-rounded involvement in extracurriculars (which include academic, athletic, and the arts).

MOST IMPROVED

This award is presented to a student who has made an overall improvement socially and academically throughout their time at RHL.

CITIZENSHIP

This award is presented to a student who contributes positively to school climate and strives for outstanding personal achievement in all areas of his/her life.

MAKING A DIFFERENCE

This award is presented to a student who contributes positively and strives to make a difference in the RHL and the wider community.

STEM

This award is presented to a student who demonstrates outstanding achievement in the Science, Technology, Mathematics, and Engineering fields both inside and outside of the classroom.

SOCIAL JUSTICE

This award is presented to a student who demonstrates a high level of awareness of global and human rights issues, and strives to promote equity in the school and greater communities.

This award is presented to a student who demonstrates positivity and continued hard work despite adversity.
