This site is monitored and updated regularly to reflect the most current information about AQ Course subsidies that are available. We are expecting updates about subsidies by early September, 2026.
Please note that subsidies are reimbursed 4-6 weeks after the successful completion of an Additional Qualifications course.
This subsidy is applicable to the following courses:
Reading, Part 1, Primary/Junior
Reading, Part 1: Teaching Black Literatures with Adolescent Learners
Mathematics, Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3
Mathematics 7/8
Teaching English Language Learners, Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3
Applicants are invited to apply for these Fall courses to receive a subsidy in the 2026-2027 school year. In order to receive a $300 subsidy, upon the completion of a PDSB-LearnForward AQ Course, NTIP teachers must complete a pre-approval form.
FNMI Part 1: amount $300.00
FNMI Part 2: amount $300.00
A full subsidy of $600.00 will be available only to teachers who are currently teaching Contemporary First Nations, Métis and Inuit Voices (NBE3). Access to the full subsidy must be approved by the Indigenous Education Team upon receipt and review of the teacher's current timetable.
To apply for the full subsidy, please submit your timetable to indigenousteam@peelsb.com.

PDSB teachers are required to enroll for the AQ Course through LearnForwardPeel and pay the course fee in full. Subsidy will be credited upon successful completion of the course

PETL Course Funding - PETL Course Funding is available for members of PETL who have not already accessed PETL Conference Funding, and will fund up to $600 toward course tuition fees (as outlined in the full guidelines linked)
