Anyone interested in joining DECA this year MUST start by filing out this google form.
You will then be added to our D2L where you will have access to resources to prepare for the Entrance Exam and be able to write the Entrance Exam.

The Entrance exam will be held on Wednesday, September 17th, afterschool in the Business Pod (rooms 220-226)
The Entrance Exam will be 100 multiple choice questions pulled from various beginner DECA exams. The questions will cover topics from Marketing, Administration, Finance, Entrepreneurship, Management, Hospitality and Tourism. Check out the Resources page for practice exams and study materials.
Grade 10-12s must meet a minimum score of 75%. Grade 9s must meet a minimum score of 50%.
Successful candidates will be given an invitation to complete their registration, steps 3-6 below, which must be completed by September 30th.

Students that do not make the cut off are still welcome to attend club meetings every Wednesday and Thursday afterschool but will not be eligible to compete. Grade 9s-11s are encouraged to take advantage of this learning opportunity to improve their score for next year's Entrance exam.

Students that have met the entrance exam cutoff score MUST go to Deca.ca and fill in your information to create an account ASAP.
Be sure to check your email and log into your account to confirm your registration.

$65 membership fee
The membership fees gives you access to all of our resources and meetings, compete in an event at Regionals and participate in the online games.
Note: You must pay the $50 Student Activity fee on cashless first, then we can add the DECA item to your cashless. If you do not see the DECA fee on your cashless, email your SAC fee receipt to JassDeca@gmail.com and we will have you added to the DECA fee list.

Go back to your original registration form and complete the new fields identifying your receipt number to confirm payment of the $65 membership fee and your event choice preference.
Events will be assigned on a first come, first serve based on payment receipt.

Print out and sign the JASS DECA contract/permission form. Have your parents sign it and bring it to the next DECA meeting or submit it in our D2L dropbox.
