Cawthra Park SS has many teams throughout the school year that compete as part of the Region of Peel Secondary School Athletic Association (ROPSSAA) and a number of teams that participate in tournaments only.
Below are some teams that Cawthra has had in the past 2 years. Teams can only run when there are staff volunteers to supervise &/or coach.

Listen for morning announcements & posters on bulletin boards (or ask any gym teacher!)
Attend a pre-season meeting (if scheduled) &/or sign up
If you're a transfer student (from another high school), then see Mr. Szeto in room 203 as soon as possible to fill out the paperwork; if you miss the deadline, you may be ineligible to play
Check if your family has paid your registration fees; if you haven't paid, then you may be ineligible to play*
Check if your family has Extended Health insurance for you through their workplace or has purchased Student Accident Insurance

Look up some sport-specific conditioning skills and drills that you can safely do at home (e.g. cardio, agility, muscular endurance & strength, etc)
Show up on time to the scheduled tryout(s)
What to wear:

Indoor tryouts - court or running shoes (non-marking soles), shorts, t-shirt
Outdoor tryouts - dress for the weather: running shoes/cleats, shorts, track pants/leggings, t-shirt, long sleeve shirt/sweater, windbreaker/jacket
