School  Newsletter

  26th June 2023

Dear Parents,

Thank you for your continued support over the last year. It has been a time of change for PDO School, when we have said goodbye to Miss Cheryl at the end of last term; we wish her a return to full health in the near future. As you are aware, Mr Tim will be the Headteacher at the start of the next academic year in August, and we wish him every success for his new post where we know he will feel most welcome by our school and community.

We will also miss Mr Gary, who is moving to a new post in China and Miss Kath who is moving back to Wales with her family after 11 years teaching overseas, and 9 of these years in Shell schools! We wish them both safe travels and good luck in their future ventures.

We wish all children and their families a fantastic summer holiday, please keep safe. We look forward to welcoming your children back to school on Tuesday 22nd August, 2023.

Below is the academic calendar for next year:

We are always happy to investigate and respond to these concerns. Please note that, for the Class Teachers, it is important that even informal discussions take place outside their teaching time.

What do I do if I have a concern?

Please make the Class Teacher your first point of contact if your concern is not successfully resolved, please contact the school via notices@pdoschool.com to make an appointment with the Headteacher, Mr Tim Robinson. trobinson@pdoschool.com
