Developed by Snow and Company and University of South Florida, KidCitizen introduces a new way for young students (K-5) to engage with history through primary sources. In the interactive episodes, children explore civics and government concepts by investigating primary source photographs. They also connect what they find with their daily lives.

The Reading Like a Historian curriculum engages students in historical inquiry. Each lesson revolves around a central historical question and features a set of primary documents designed for groups of students with a range of reading skills.

Beyond the Bubble unlocks the vast digital archive of the Library of Congress to create History Assessments of Thinking (HATs). Explore over 80 easy-to-use assessments that measure students' historical thinking rather than recall of facts.

World Languages Resources

A free website and app for practicing languages

A Spanish-language website from Argentina, similar to PBS Kids, with countless hours of children's shows and related activities

Streaming services (Amazon, Netflix, Disney+, etc.)

Typically allow viewers to change the audio feed and the subtitles to other languages. Students can be encouraged to do this in order to increase their exposure to the language.
