The Pennsylvania Council of Teachers of English and Language Arts, a professional organization committed to promoting literacy and lifelong learning, empowers and inspires educators through professional development and collegial communication.
Mission Statement
The mission of the 2023 PCTELA conference is to support and encourage educators as they explore and learn about effective practices that inspire students to wonder and delve more deeply into a diverse world of texts, perspectives, and multimodal literacy experiences. We seek to provide a safe space for educators of all backgrounds to collaborate, explore, and return home from this journey as empowered leaders within their own school and community.
