About the Teachers

Mrs. Landry and Mrs. Lora want to welcome each of you to a new year at NES! We are so happy to have you in our class and we will work every day to make learning fun using games, technology and some good old fashioned practice using pencil and paper. We are thankful for each and every one of you and your parents/guardians and are grateful that we have been entrusted with a small part of your education. These are important years and we intend to make every second count. There is urgency here. We feel it and you will feel it too!!

Mrs. Landry: I have been teaching for many years but am still learning new ways to do things. I never want to be complacent or stop listening to the students. I have a background in Science, Business and Education and try to bring these experiences to the classroom. I love teaching reading and can't wait to share with my students some new things that I have learned this summer. It's going to be a wonderful year and I'm excited to see what we can accomplish together.

Mrs. Lora: I have been in the school system for almost 30 years and I bring a wide variety of experiences to my teaching practices. These experiences have helped me see how the whole system works together for the benefit of the students. I look forward to teaching a great group of students and want to make it an awesome, growing year.
