Welcome to Ms. Rachel's counseling and guidance website! As a school counselor, I offer the following services in order to promote positive development in academic, career and personal/social domains:

*Individual counseling

*Small group counseling

*Classroom guidance lessons

*Collaborate with parents/guardians/caregivers, teachers, administrators, mental health clinicians and students

*Respond to crisis or emergency situations

*Provide information and resources to parents/guardians/caregivers

I have the privilege of being born and raised here in Petersburg and I am grateful to call this place home and this school district my workplace. My educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a minor in Special Education/Rehabilitation from Western Oregon University. Furthermore, I obtained my Master of Education degree in School Counseling from the University of Alaska Fairbanks in May 2008. I am an active member of the Alaska School Counselor Association (AkSCA) and the American School Counselor Association (ASCA).
