EHMS Miners After School Association (MASA) consists of two main focuses. Click on the focus for a link with more specifics about what is offered.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Registration:
Parents must register their students for MASA before students can participate in any after school activities. Clubs may require additional registration, as space is limited for some programs.
Time and Schedule:
MASA activities take place Mondays - Thursdays while school is in session. All programs start right after school and run until 4:50pm. Students must be picked up by 5:00pm. There is no supervision after 5:00pm, so please be mindful and arrive on time for pick-up.
Cost:
Thanks to a generous grant from the Park City Education Foundation, the majority of the MASA Activities at EHMS are free to EHMS students. Chess does have an additional fee.
Behavior Policy:
The After School Program is an extension of the school day and all policies stated in the Student Handbook continue to be in place. Click on the image to the right to view the EHMS Handbook.
Daily Check-In:
Each day students attend MASA, they will need to complete a Google Form Sign-in. Students who do not sign in by 4:00pm may not be able to ride the bus home. Students must have sign-in to get on a list for the busses.
Snacks are provided for students that attend MASA.
Students must notify their after school teacher and the coordinator (Mrs. K-Davis) before leaving early or if their pick-up plans change.
Activity Bus:
All bus-eligible students may ride the activity bus home at no charge at 4:50pm.
The activity bus stops are not the same as the regular school bus stops, so please refer to the link to determine the appropriate After School Bus Stop for Registration.
Please note that riding the activity bus is a privilege, not a right; and appropriate behavior is expected.
Activity Bus Expectations & Consequences:
All riders must sit in the front rows of the bus.
No standing or walking around the bus while riding.
No shouting or foul Language.
If these expectations are not followed, you will be not be allowed to take the Activity Bus.
Students get one warning, then are written up. If students are written up more than twice they will not be permitted to take the activity bus home.
