2025 HUD COC Competition Suspended
12.09.25 HUD has issued an announcement withdrawing the FY2025 CoC Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) to allow time for revisions. Because the federal NOFO establishes the framework and requirements for our local competition, we will pause our local CoC competition process until HUD releases the modified NOFO.
In the meantime, we encourage all agencies to continue preparing and refining their applications so they are ready to move quickly once the competition resumes.
Once HUD publishes the revised materials, we will immediately review the changes, update our local timeline, and communicate the next steps. For now, please consider all current local deadlines temporarily suspended.

11/27/25- The Southern Illinois CoC is announcing the availability of grants from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development to end homelessness. The CoC is accepting renewal proposals and new project proposals for Transitional Housing, Supportive Services, Street Outreach, HMIS and Coordinated Entry expansion. The CoC welcomes applications from all eligible nonprofit organizations, including faith-based organizations and agencies new to the CoC Program.
