About Me

About me:

Born and raised in Altoona, Iowa where I was a graduate of Southeast Polk High School in 2011. I attended the University of Northern Iowa where I majored in Secondary Mathematics Teaching and also had the pleasure of playing college football as the punter and holder for the UNI Panthers from 2011-2015.

After college, in the fall of 2016, I became a long term substitute for 6th grade PE at Spring Creek 6th Grade Center for 1 year. From the fall of 2017 to the spring of 2019, I was the permanent substitute for Bondurant-Farrar Community School District while serving multiple long term substitute opportunities.

Starting the fall of 2019, I joined the Prairie City Monroe Community School District where I have been a math teacher at the high school.

Along with being a math teacher, I have had the pleasure in being a part of mulitple coaching staffs as an assistant coach and head coach. I am currently an assistant varsity football coach and the head coach for our boys varsity track team.

I love spending time teaching, coaching and supporting our kids in the classroom and outside the classroom with all the activities and clubs they are involved in.
