Thank you to Tom De Bruin for providing some hands-on instruction for our TRC Committee as they continue to work on our John Deere 4230!
The TRC committee has held its first business meeting to plan their schedule for the completing the tractor. The group has met twice on the past two Thursday night from 4-9pm to work on the tractor.
The TRC committee is embarking on a new project this year. In December a John Deere 4230 was purchased from Colfax Tractor.
Although this tractor is not operational, our group is excited to start working to bring it back to life. The goal will be to market a machine that is ready for work. Members of the committee hope to gain more skills while working on the tractor and use the proceeds form the sale to fund future projects.
Thank you to Syngenta and Dekalb Seed for donating our tool box!
Thank you once again to the Veenstra family for allowing our chapter to work on our tractor at their shop in Peoria.
