About the Journal

華岡英語期刊

The Hwa Kang English Journal is a fully refereed scholarly journal, published by the Department of English Language and Literature, Chinese Culture University.  Founded in 1995, it was originally titled Hwa Kang Journal of English Language & Literature.  The journal was published biannually between 2010 and 2012, but resumed annual publication with the September 2013 issue. Committed to promoting rigorous research and intellectual dialogue, the journal features articles that cover a wide range of topics in English literature, linguistics, English learning and teaching, translation studies, as well as cultural studies.
