4. Infrastructure and Capability Enhancement
Establishment of a Center of Excellence for Safety, Reliability, and Optimization (CSRO) Laboratory at PCCoE, in collaboration with Henkel Adhesives Technology Pvt. Ltd. is currently in process. This will empower the students to move beyond theory to hands-on experimentation, helping them truly understand concepts, materials, processes, and real-world constraints.
5. Faculty Development
Conducted a “Train the Trainer” Program at the Henkel`s Innovation Center, Pune, enhancing faculty expertise in advanced adhesive technologies and industrial applications. Well-trained faculty act as effective bridges between institutions and industry, enabling joint research and student projects.
6. Student Team Support
Continuous adhesive material and technical support provided to:
Student Team Solarium since 2017.
Student Team Maverick since 2023.
7. Internship Opportunities
Internship opportunities provided to 11 PCCoE students, enabling hands-on industrial exposure and strengthening employability. This helped students to get practical exposure to industry practices and technologies, application of classroom learning to real-world problems, enhancement of technical and professional skills, improved understanding of industry expectations, Increased employability and job readiness.

## Outcome of Industry collaboration
Novimeq Automation,Pune-based automation Industry with global reach across Canada, Europe and the Middle East providing services/products in advanced Automation Programming, PLC & SCADA solutions, and Industry 4.0 technologies. MoU was signed between PCCoE,Pune & Novimeq Automation,Pune on 21st February,2025 to strengthen research collaboration and to provide internships to UG students.
Pursuant to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed with Novimeq Automation India, a significant milestone has been achieved in strengthening industry–academia collaboration. As a direct outcome of this MoU:
1.Internship opportunities were provided to 4 students, enabling them to gain hands-on industrial exposure and practical experience in automation technologies.
2.Job offers were extended to 4 students, reflecting the industry relevance of the students’ skills and the effectiveness of the collaboration.
This partnership has contributed meaningfully to enhancing students’ employability, bridging the gap between academic learning and industry requirements, and promoting experiential learning aligned with current industrial practices.
