Dr. Brijesh Shankarrao Deshmukh,

Dr. Brijesh Shankarrao Deshmukh is an Assistant Professor at PCET's Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering (PCCOE), Akurdi, Pune, where he has been serving for the past four years. With over Seventeen years of cumulative experience in higher education, he brings a rare interdisciplinary expertise that bridges English language & literature, engineering communication, and management studies.

At PCCOE, he teaches a diverse portfolio of subjects including Communication Skills, Universal Human Values, English for Professionals, Business Finance for Engineers, Project Management, Principles of Management, Design Thinking & Innovation, and Professional Skills for Engineers.

He holds a Ph.D. (Grade A, 2019) from Savitribai Phule Pune University, with a doctoral thesis on discourse analysis in Chetan Bhagat's novels and their film adaptations. He also holds an M.Phil. (Grade A) in feminist literary criticism, an M.A. from the prestigious Fergusson College Pune, a B.Ed., and an MBA with triple specialisation in Operations, Human Resource Management, and Finance.

A State Level Prize winner at Avishkar-2018, Dr. Deshmukh has published research in UGC CARE-listed and peer-reviewed journals and presented at national and international conferences. He serves as a University Examiner for S.P.P.U. and Y.C.M.O.U., and holds over thirteen years of H.S.C. Board assessment experience.

He is also a recognised Soft Skills and Communication trainer, having delivered Faculty Development Programs and keynote addresses at institutions across Pune.
