Welcome to Week 1!

It is very important that you come to the first class on April 6th!  If you do not come, you will probably be dropped from the class.

This week we will do an English placement to make sure you are in the correct class.

This week we will pay for class, get a parking permit, and get the class textbook.

If you can't pay for class, talk to Brittany.

Homework:

• Pay for class (at class Jan. 7th $129.20) 

• Get a parking permit if you use a car (at class Jan. 7th $50)

• Get the textbook (at class Sept. 24th $42.70)

This week we will finish the Welcome Unit.

This week we will start Unit 3.

• Read in English 10-15 minutes every day.  Write down what you read in your reading log.

• Listen to one English audio every day.  Write down what you listened to in your listening log.

• On Monday turn in the reading/listening logs for the Welcome Unit.

Welcome to Week 3!

This week we will continue Unit 2:

• We will practice conversations about rooms and furniture in our house. Grammar: prepositions, there is/there are, adjectives.

• We will practice conversations about places in our communities. Grammar: simple present DO.

• We will practice reading & writing about places. Grammar: simple present DO, adjectives.

Computer Class: use websites to study English, log into MyPCC, access MyPCC email.

Homework:

This week we will finish Unit 3.

This week we will prepare for the Midterm Exam.  We will do practice problems together during our Monday class and do a Kahoot on Wednesday before the exam.
