Welcome to the Poplar Bluff Middle School Counseling Department website! We are counselors for 4th, 5th, and 6th graders at PBMS. Each grade has their own school counselor and that counselor will stay with the same group of students throughout their time at PBMS.
Welcome to the Poplar Bluff Middle School Counseling Department website! We are counselors for 4th, 5th, and 6th graders at PBMS. Each grade has their own school counselor and that counselor will stay with the same group of students throughout their time at PBMS.
We provide classroom lessons to all students in the areas of social and emotional development, academic skills, and career awareness and preparedness. We also provide group counseling to students in areas such as grief and loss, leadership, self esteem, and social skills. Individual counseling is also provided to students on a short term basis. We are able to help students in crisis at school and seek to help them and their families find resources to meet their needs.
