Hello,
My name is David Symalla and I am an English Teacher at Paynesville Area High School, and this will be my eighth year with Paynesville Area Schools.
It is amazing to be a part of this wonderful community of learning.
I direct the One Act competition piece. We have gone on to sections in 2017, 2018, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023.
I also have directed the school's Three-Act play. These included A Seussified Christmas Carol (2016), Clue On Stage (2018), and She Kills Monsters (2022)
I am the Head Speech Coach. Hopefully, we can continue to get driven and talented orators!
I will be using Google Classroom for class assignments and material. If you lose or are not in class for a physical copy of a worksheet, please refer to Google Classroom.
