Meet Imaani-Rae!
I'm Imaani-Rae and I am the School Council member for Year 1. I love being on the School Council because this is a brilliant school and all the teachers are so kind.
In our School Council meetings, we get to talk with the other year groups and share our ideas. The older children help the younger year groups so we all can make a change.
I have made a suggestion folder for my class and it is hanging on the wall so children can put ideas in it when they want me to take it to a meeting to share.
You might already recognise me if you have walked or driven past the school recently as I am on the brand new posters that advertise Paxton Academy!
When I was chosen, I felt really proud because this is a great school!

Visitors to Y1...
We were lucky to have the police come in and talk to us about how they keep everyone safe. We also had a video call with two ladies from a hospital who spoke to us about how important it is to brush your teeth and keep them clean!
