Molly is a former policy advisor for energy and climate change at the Obama White House where she helped implement President Obama's energy agenda and Climate Action Plan — series of groundbreaking energy policies to decrease U.S. greenhouse gas emissions and support the creation of the Paris Climate Agreement. Today, she works on clean energy in the tech sector. She has worked on numerous political campaigns, including as Director of Special Projects for Hillary Clinton's 2016 campaign. Outside of work, Molly does podcasts and talks to help activists improve their communications and framing of the climate crisis, engage effectively with leaders, and make the climate movement more inclusive. Molly's work is centered around how to harness psychology and neuroscience to re-align the climate movement around systemic change, free people from environmental shaming, and teach activists how to use more effective climate framing. Molly’s ultimate goal is to give everybody access to the climate movement, and make the climate movement fight
for everybody. She is a Board Member for the San Francisco League of Conservation Voters and a Fellow with the Clean Energy Leadership Institute. She is passionate about alpinism and in her free time climbs mountains throughout North America, with a focus on Alaska.
