Pennsylvania's State Systemic Improvement Plan (SSIP)
Public Forum Site
This site has been developed to provide information regarding the State Systemic Improvement Plan Public Forum.
The Forum will take place on Thursday, July 29th, 2021 from 9:00 AM - Noon.
Purpose of the Forum
The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act of 2004 requires states to develop a State Performance Plan (SPP) and Annual Performance Report (APR) that includes measurable and rigorous targets for federally required indicators of compliance and results. These targets provide a framework and influence the work of states and local education agencies (LEAs) to guide improvement efforts and achieve positive outcomes for students with disabilities. States are now revising their SPP to cover the six years through Federal Fiscal Year 2025.
During this virtual public forum, the BSE is seeking input and recommendations from stakeholders about targets and improvement strategies that the state should consider for Pennsylvania’s State Systemic Improvement Plan (improving graduation rates for students with disabilities).
