About the Teacher

Hi there! Let me start by saying how excited I am to be a part of your child's education this year! This is my 3rd year here at PPA and my 2nd year in Second Grade- I'm so excited! I graduated from Kent State University where I received my bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education. I did all of my student teaching in second grade and loved it- so I am thrilled to be here!

I grew up in Hilliard, Ohio so the Columbus area has always been my home. I enjoy reading, spending time with family, playing with my dogs and cooking/baking.

7:55 - 8:15: Kids entering room/eating breakfast

8:15 - 8:30: Morning Meeting

8:30 - 10:00: Language Arts

10:00 - 10:15: Restroom Break

10:15 - 10:45: Math

10:46 - 11:18: Recess

11:18 - 11:56: Lunch (In the classroom)

11:56 - 12:05: Quiet Reading

12:06 - 1:06: P.E. with Mr. Balmert

1:06 - 1:15: Restroom Break

1:15 - 2:15: Math

2:15 - 3:10: Science/Social Studies

3:10 - 3:15: Pack-Up

3:15 - 3:30: Dismissal
