About the Teacher
Hi and welcome to 2nd grade! I'm very excited to be a part of your child's education this year! This is my 22nd year teaching second grade, and my 27th year of teaching overall. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary and Special Education from Morningside College along with a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governor's University.
I enjoy spending my free time outdoors, gardening, doing yard work, walking, and being with my family (husband/Steve, son/Seth-electrician in New Hampshire, daughter/Alyssa-attending The Ohio State University College of Nursing), and three cats, Foxie, Nellie, and Ziggy.
