Who is the festival for?
The festival is open to everyone, including children and young people, families, community groups, local residents, and partner organisations.
What activities will be available?

The programme will include football tournaments and recreational games, youth engagement activities (including STEM and “5Cs”), cultural performances, health and wellbeing stalls, community partner showcases, and prize competitions.

Do I need to register in advance?
General attendance does not require registration.
Teams and participants (e.g. football) must register in advance through the organisers.
Who is organising the event?
The festival is led by Passion4Fusion (P4F) in collaboration with local partners, clubs, and community organisations.
Can other organisations get involved?
Yes. Organisations can host a stall, deliver an activity, sponsor part of the event, or volunteer. Please contact the organisers for partnership opportunities.
Will there be first aid on site?
Yes, trained first aiders and a defibrillator (AED) will be available throughout the event.
What safety measures are in place?
The event will have designated staff and volunteers, clearly defined activity zones, safeguarding procedures for children and young people, and maintained emergency access routes.
How do I get to the venue?
Saughton Park is accessible via bus routes across Edinburgh, as well as walking and cycling paths. Limited parking is available nearby. Click the link here for specific info on transport routes.
Is the venue accessible?
Yes, the park and main event areas are accessible for wheelchairs and prams.
What happens in the event of bad weather?
The festival will proceed in most weather conditions. Attendees are advised to dress appropriately. Any significant changes will be communicated in advance.
Will photography or filming take place?
Yes, photography and videography will be used for promotional purposes. If you prefer not to be included, please inform event staff on arrival.
Expected behaviour
All attendees are expected to behave in a respectful and inclusive manner. Inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from the event.
Are there toilets and refreshments?
Public toilet facilities are available within the park. Food and drink will be provided by vendors and partners.
