What are eBooks?

eBooks are books that can be read and accessed online. You can access these types of books through the library website and external websites but the school library's catalog is the best place you can access them right now.

• When you search for a book make sure that it is in the right format. Material type can be filtered on the left side of the virtual catalog. There is more information about this in the video below!

• Some books aren't about stories or fairytales, there are lots of books about nurturing new skills and non-fiction, real-life topics like certain times in history and career paths, too!

• Try reading a book you've never heard of before! Sometimes these are the best

Here are some questions to ask yourself when you're looking for a new book to read that can help you know what to search for next:

1. Do you want to read a book that is Fiction (Imagined Events or Stories) or Non-Fiction (Based on Real Facts or Life Stories)?

2. What genre do you want to read next? (Examples include Adventure, Sci-Fi, Realistic, Romance, Fantasy, Sports, and More!)

3. What books did you like reading in the past? If you can find something similar to that book, you might like the next book you read just as much.
