From the Passaic Preparatory Academy Brochure, 2022:
"In the Theatre Arts Pathway, students will have the opportunity to learn acting and technical theater skills. The acting skills focus on a Meisner based technique that teachers kids to "live in the moment," as opposed to thinking too hard about being on stage. They will also utilize improvisation skills to work on feeling more in their body and sharpening their voice skills. Students are able to utilize these skills with a fall play, spring musical, videos for competitions, and voiceover work with the TV production department. the spring musical is our largest activity that includes students from all pathways at PREP, with our musical Legally Blonde having 110 students involved.
Some of the careers that are available to students who complete this pathway are:
Actor
Director
Sound Engineer
Make Up Artist
Scenic Design
