2025/2026 Sideline Cheer tryouts will be held the week of March 24th
Mandatory Parent Meeting - Tuesday, March 18th @ 6:00 pm
Tryout Clinic - March 24/25/27/28
Evaluations - Saturday, March 29 starting at 9am
If you are unable to attend either the clinic or the evaluation day due to competition in a Spring Sport or other prearranged commitment please inform Coach Wilshusen ASAP to set up an alternate evaluation.
The following items must be submitted by March 18th to be eligible to tryout:

No skills/experience required
*Will need to show a toe touch at tryouts - will be taught in the clinic
JV Sideline

*Incoming 9th graders will need current coaches verification of skill ability in order to be eligible to tryout for Varsity
Team Sizes
Based on number of tryout candidates the following team sizes are trying to be achieved:
FROSH 12-16
JV 16-20
VARSITY (Sideline & Comp) 20-24
Team placement is at the discretion of the coaching staff and needs for each team. I do not and will not share any scoring information but am happy to answer any questions on how you can improve for next year. I will only respond to athlete inquiries regarding how they can improve.
Parent demands and accusatory statements regarding team placement WILL NOT BE TOLERATED!

Times are an estimate and we will continue through on a rolling schedule. Please plan to be checked in outside the practice by at least 15 minutes before your estimated time slot.
If you miss your slot you will be added to the end once everyone else has gone.
There will be 2 panels rolled out in front of the gym to warm up on. You may arrive as early as you would like to practice outside.
