Concert Band

4/29 evening rehearsal

Last rehearsal before our concert with Flamson Middle School tomorrow night. Yes, it's mandatory - see you there!! 5:30-8pm in the band room!

4/30 Spring Concert with Flamson Middle School

Our annual (mandatory attendance, thank you) joint spring concert with Flamson Middle School will take place here at PRHS. The concert will be at 5:30pm outside the gymnasium as normal. Parents, please bring lawn chairs if you'd like to sit! More details (like call time) are still being worked out, and once finalized they'll be posted here.

5/13 combined rehearsal with forte

This is our last evening rehearsal of the year, can you believe it?! Like any other, this rehearsal isn't optional. It will begin right after school and the part with Forte is scheduled to go until 7pm. This will serve as our "dress" rehearsal (no formal wear required) for our joint spring concert with Forte. The rehearsal could go longer than 7pm, depending on whether Mr. Cera needs to keep the band to rehearse on their own prior to the concert.

5/15 joint Spring Concert with Forte

That's right, we are sharing the stage lights with Forte at the Templeton Performing Arts Center, this time for our Spring Concert! There will be two shows, 6pm & 8pm. We are still working out the details (like call time, etc.), once things are finalized they'll be added here.

5/21 Band and Color guard banquet

This year, our end-of-the-year "pot luck" banquet will be held at Culinary Arts Academy at 1900 Golden Hill Road at 7pm. Please bring a dessert or finger food to share. Let's celebrate a great year, and send our seniors off on a good note!

5/27 2026 drum major audition packets due

If you are interested in auditioning to be the drum major for the next marching season, please be sure your audition packet (see Google Classroom for details) has been turned in to Mr. Cera today!! Thank you!

5/27 2026 drum major auditions

These will take place in the band room after school. There is a packet that has been posted on Google Classroom that needs to be read, filled out, and turned into Mr. Cera by May 20th if you wish to apply and audition. Same goes for Section Leader. Check Google Classroom for details. Thank you!
