Joshua Tree Nature Writing Project

Students will backpack into remote areas of Joshua Tree National Park, spending 4 nights in nature, reading, writing and talking about desert ecology, solitude, and wilderness.  Students will be trained in Leave No Trace backpacking ethics and learn different nature writing approaches.  Backpack gear may be rented for free from PRHS.
