Hello! I am Amanda Priest, I was born and raised in Bradford, PA where I currently live with my husband and our two children; Rilynn 10 and Sawyer 7. I am one of three children. I have an older brother who is a prison guard and an older sister who is a first grade teacher in Bradford! I want to thank you for allowing me to be a part of your students educational journey! I truly look forward to all of the milestones we are about to embark on! 

I graduated from Bradford Area High School in 2008. From there I attended Pitt-Bradford for Psychology with a minor in Education, I graduated in 2013 with a B.S in Psychology. Directly after graduating, I started subbing in the Bradford school district and decided to go back to school to finish my degree in Early Childhood Education. In 2015 I graduated from Pitt- Bradford with a B.S in Early Childhood Education. Once graduating I subbed still in the Bradford school district until I started my position at Port Allegany School District in 2017 as the pre-k assistant teacher. I taught kindergarten for 6 years and this coming school year will be my first year teaching 4th grade! Now in the 2025-2026 this is my 9th year teaching at PAES! I completed my masters degree in reading specialist from Wilkes University in the fall of 2022, in spring of 2024 I completed masters in STEM. I am a firm believer that at any age, we can all learn and grow to better help those around us! While I continue my education, I am doing it so I am able to keep myself learning and growing for my students! 

My family is my everything! I enjoy spending time with them while I am not in school. We enjoy going to local parks to play, jumping on the trampoline, swimming, boating, jet skiing and going for walks.

• Football team: Buffalo Bills- we are HARDCORE Bills fans in my classroom, we celebrate with victory donuts every Monday!
