Hello! My name is Ariana Jacobsen, and I am from Wellsboro, PA. I began studying music at Liberty University where I played trombone in the marching band as well as in the Wind Symphony. I later transferred to Mansfield University where I received my Bachelor of Music in Music Education.
When I am not at school, I enjoy playing trombone in musical pit orchestras as well as in the Mansfield University Low Brass Ensemble, which I continue to participate in after graduating. I also love working with the Southern Tioga Marching Band and Indoor Drumline as well as the Wellsboro Area High School Marching Band.
Outside of music, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, reading, and playing games of all sorts. My favorite animals are frogs, and my favorite vegetable is broccoli.
I am so excited to be able to help the next generation of humans to be able to grow through the medium of music, and I am uniquely fortunate because when I say I am "livin' the dream", I mean I truly am living the dream. :)
