BOOKS:
Everything You Need to Ace American History in One Big Fat Notebook by Lily Rothman
This books separates American history into chunks where it explains the history in words and pictures. After each chapter there is a quiz the reader can take to see what they understood. This book would be an excellent helper to understand key topics in American History.
Changes in the Land by William Cronon
This books discusses the ecological changes that occurred during and after British colonization of America. I recommend this book to the student that asks how did the land change once the Europeans came to the USA.
