Our classroom uses The Creative Curriculum, a research-based, play-based approach to early childhood education. Children learn best when they are actively engaged in meaningful, hands-on experiences that encourage curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving. The curriculum is designed to support the whole child and prepare children for success in school and in life. 

Our classroom also uses Handwriting Without Tears, a developmentally appropriate handwriting program that helps children build the skills they need for writing success. The program uses fun, hands-on activities to teach letter formation, pencil grip, and fine motor skills in a positive, engaging way. 

Second Step is a social-emotional learning program that helps children develop the skills they need to build positive relationships, manage their emotions, and solve problems. Through engaging lessons, stories, songs, and activities, children learn important life skills that support success both in school and beyond. 

Heggerty Phonemic Awareness Curriculum ia a research-based program that helps children develop the listening and sound-awareness skills that are essential for learning to read. Through short, engaging daily lessons, children learn to hear, identify, and manipulate the sounds in spoken words, building a strong foundation for future reading and spelling success.
