Ratified in 1771 to protect individual rights.
First 10 Amendments to the US Constitution
Economic Rights included property rights.
Political Rights included freedom of speech and press.
Personal rights include the right to bear arms and maintain private property.
This concept in our government is protected in the 10th amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
