Daily Schedule
All ensembles meet daily, Monday-Friday, with sectionals, performances, and UIL events being co-curricular parts of the class (events outside class are also graded). Attendance is mandatory for all members participating in an ensemble at South Houston High School. Daily practice is expected and required for individual improvement in order to advance upward to more competitive ensembles.
It is expected that each student arrive to rehearsals with their instrument in good working condition, all necessary supplies (pencil, rosin, rock stops, etc.) and ready to play by the start time.

During UIL season, there will be extra rehearsals to help prepare for our UIL Concert & Sightreading Assessment. Refer to the Trojan Orchestra Handbook for full attendance and rehearsal policies.
