VOLLEYBALL SKILLS SESSIONS AND STRENGTH & CONDITIONING (SAC)

Skills & SAC are open to any incoming 7th - 12th grader zoned to SHHS and planning to tryout for volleyball.
CAMPS
Incoming 7th - 9th: July 30th & 31st 3 - 5 PM @ SHHS - $10 CASH or Mobile Pay
Returning Players (10th - 12th): July 30th & 31st 5 - 7:30 PM @ SHHS- $25 CASH or Mobile Pay
Players that will be in grades 10 - 12 for the 2024 school year MUST have played volleyball during the 2023 season in order to attend camp.
Anyone else grades 10 - 12 that wants to attend camp must contact Coach Clifford- mclifford@pasadenaisd.org

Team rosters are published to the program website an hour after the last tryout session ends. For those that make a team, see "FIRST WEEK SCHEDULE" under "2024 Season Info" tab.

BEFORE YOU TRYOUT
All athletes trying out must have a completed physical that has been turned in and approved by the SHHS campus trainers.
All athletes trying out must have completed the PISD online Rank One forms.
PHYSICAL INFORMATION
All athletes MUST have a physical on file with the trainers at South Houston High School prior to being able to particiapte in tryouts. Athlete physicals need to be completed on the 2024-2025 PISD physical form. This form is not yet posted on the PISD website. The link to the PISD website athletic page is HERE. This page will be updated when the online form becomes available. Forms will also be available from trainers and coaches at each PISD campus. Each PISD intermediate and HS campus has a physical day. Ask your coach/trainer for the date.

RANK ONE INSTRUCTIONS

RANKONE CRASHED LAST YEAR ON THE FIRST DAY OF TRYOUTS. DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE!!
1) To begin, click on yellow highlighted area that says “Parent/Student Fill Out Electronic Forms.
2) Click on Texas, then on Pasadena ISD and then on “Click Here” to proceed to Online forms.
3) Click on “Continue as Guest”
In this web link, look under tab called electronic participation forms and complete player application and emergency consent sections. Every box must have something in it, so if no home phone for example, type in N/A or none. When entering athlete information, type ID# in with “zero” included in ID#. If parent still cannot complete online part, they need to see athletic trainers.
After all information is entered, hit submit. Athletes should see a page that says something along lines of information went submitted. Both the player application and the emergency consent parts must be completed along with the completed physical in order for athletes to be cleared for participation.
